  • Adrian Collins | Co-Founder/Director

    Highlight: Adrian has 20+ years’ experience in the BPO industry with 10+ years leading Emerge BPO. He developed Emerge BPO to partner with world renowned retailers who require high levels of customer support, with customized solutions tailored to each client's needs. He maintains an active role in the business development and operations.

     

    Adrian is a strong leader, providing mentorship via one-on-one sessions to operations and support staff, where they are equipped with the needed tools to overcome challenges and pursue their goals.

     

    We asked Adrian a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    Did you play a sport in high school?

    Yes. Football

     

    Do you like cartoons? If so, what's your favorite cartoon show?

    I did. I liked Scooby  Doo.

     

    What is your favorite food?

    Puri and Curry (Guyanese dish).

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    I appeared in a pilot for MTV while in High school.

  • Carole Fletcher | Co-Founder

    Highlight: Carole is passionate about bringing a fresh perspective to the BPO industry, providing valuable and meaningful work opportunities. Her experience in the contact center space started 12+ years’ ago, initially in the Human Resources department.

    `

    Starting her career in the engineering field, Carole designed foundations for large buildings, wharves and roads for 13 years in various countries such as the United States, Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana.  She was able to apply her analytical skills throughout Emerge particularly in Operations, Reporting and Data Analysis.

     

    She currently Chairs the Emerge Advisory Board.

     

    We asked Carole a few fun questions to help us all get to know her better.

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    There are a few things: I play the piano, I like to cook, and I fancy myself a runner.

     

    If you could eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Shrimp

     

    What is your favorite sport?

    I love watching tennis, and I enjoy running.

     

    Tea or Coffee?

    Tea

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Mentor. I like to empower women and girls through mentoring to help them realize their full potential.

     

     

  • Dalgleish Joseph | Vice President of Operations

    Highlight: Dalgleish has been at the forefront of contact center business development in the Caribbean and Latin American for over a decade. He is a proven business professional skilled in leading service excellence and customer experience efforts for large retail and telecommunication companies around the world. Dalgleish has achieved success throughout his career in the BPO space producing substantial improvements in customer satisfaction, performance and cost reduction initiatives.

     

    Dalgleish’s experience in leading client service excellence and organizational leadership in the contact industry started 13 years ago in El Salvador and then expanded into the Caribbean. Dalgleish became the Site Director of the largest private employer in Guyana, creating over 1000 jobs in that country.

     

    This success led to him subsequently accepting the role of Director and Country Manager of one of the fastest growing Contact Centers in Jamaica, where he was directly responsible for creating over 2000 jobs in the areas of sales, customer care and technical support.

     

    Dalgleish currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Diversity at Emerge BP which is headquartered in Guyana. He is responsible for the company’s local and global operations, overseeing the development of new clients and sustainable growth.

     

    We asked Dalgleish a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    Because of my dislike of ties I have never owned one. If you’ve ever seen me with a tie on, just know it was borrowed from my Dad.

     

    If you had to eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Fruits. I love all kinds of fruits especially mangoes, strawberries and watermelon.

     

    What is your favourite sport?

    My favorite played sport is cricket. In fact, I played in the El Salvador National Cricket Team many years ago against Belize and Nicaragua. However, my favorite sport to watch is Basketball, during the NBA Playoff season.

     

    Coffee or tea?

     Iced Coffee any day

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Be an actor in Hollywood. I’m a big fan of Denzel Washington and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

  • Brian Dean- Senior Director of Client Services

    Highlight: Brian has 20+ years’ experience in the BPO industry, working with clients spanning a multitude of territories across the globe, including North America, South America, India, and the Philippines.  Brian is experienced in start-up, transition, and launch of onshore, offshore, and nearshore operations crossing a series of verticals including eCommerce, Retail, Telcom, Automotive, and IT Services.  Brian is PMP® certified, and Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

     

    Brian began his career in the industry as an agent, eventually working his way through the ranks of Team Leader, Process Manager, Program Manager, Business Unit Leader, and Account Manager before landing in his current role as Senior Director of Client Services.  Brian is a proven leader who is responsible for managing Emerge's relationships with each of its clients, all while working closely with operations to ensure client needs are met 100% of the time.

     

    We asked Brian a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    What is your favourite sport?

    Soccer!  I used to play soccer until I was in my early 20s.  Now I coach my daughter’s team, and I’m enjoying every minute of it.

     

    If you had to eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Pizza.  100%, absolutely, no question…it would be pizza.

     

    Coffee or Tea?

    Neither. Water for me!

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    I lived and worked in the Philippines for over six months to assist in ramping up call centers.  During this time, I was a contestant on a Filipino game show called “Wowowee!!!”.

  • Nalini Locke - General Manager & Site Director

    Highlight: Nalini is an industry expert with more than 10 years of successful experience in Customer Service and Client Relations. She is an enthusiastic and driven professional. During her most recent five-year tenure at Emerge, Nalini has worked assiduously towards client satisfaction at all levels.

     

    Nalini’s experience in the BPO sector began in 2008 when she joined Emerge BPO as an agent. Her passion and drive led her to strategically align her individual goals with that of the company’s. This move saw her elevating professionally throughout the different management roles of the company to eventually become the General Manager and Site Director.

     

    Nalini received her Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in International Relations from the University of Guyana in 2009. It was there that she discovered her passion for external relations and love for bridging the gap between customers’ satisfaction and organizational needs.

     

    This mother of two has her eyes set on a Master’s in Business Administration with a specific focus on Visionary and Strategic Leadership.

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    My dream, as a kid, was to become a singer.

     

    If you could eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Pasta and prawns

     

    Do you like cartoons? If so, what's your favorite cartoon show?

    Yes, Tom and Jerry.

  • Melisa McRae-George - Senior Director of Finance

    Highlight: Melisa Mc Rae- George is a results-driven and seasoned Executive with over 19 years of professional experience in Financial and Operational Management.  She is a certified Accountant and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Finance. Melisa first Joined Emerge BPO in 2008 as a Part-time Financial Consultant, but her professionalism and sagacity did not go unnoticed.

     

    In 2012, Melisa advanced into a more full-time role, taking up the post of Finance Manager. Melissa’s keen attention to detail and analytical mindset saw her further growing into the role of General Manager with overall responsibilities for the management of the Guyana Operations.

     

    In her current role as Senior Director, Finance, Melisa gives strategic oversight and support to the Finance and Human Resources Departments.

     

    Prior to joining Emerge BPO, Melisa held the post of Chief Financial Officer at an International Charitable Organization for 9 years. During her tenure there, she managed the company’s finances and led its Guyana operations. Her responsibilities included the coordination of fund raising and donor activities. Additionally, Melisa has worked with 50+ companies throughout Guyana, specializing in accounting, taxation, payroll and accounting training and software setup.

     

    We asked Melisa a few fun questions to help us all get to know her better.

     

    Did you play a sport in high school?

    Yes, I loved playing Badminton at my High School, Queen’s College.

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Trainer. I enjoy learning, adding value and freely sharing my knowledge with others.

  • Latoya Greaves - Executive Business Manager

    Highlight: Latoya Greaves is an Executive Business Manager at Emerge BPO where she manages the company facilities along with project and administrative support to the directors, CEO and executives. Latoya is a proactive, highly motivated and energetic individual with excellent sales, marketing, business development and management skills. Mrs. Greaves has a proven track record of excellence and execution, along with a profound ability to work towards set goals.

     

    Latoya has over ten years of management experience working in marketing, product & project management for international brands such as Massy, Digicel and Trinidad Cement Limited.

     

    Latoya holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Australia Institute of Business and a Bachelor's of Social Sciences degree in Management from the University of Guyana.
