  • Adrian Collins | Co-Founder/Director

    Highlight: Adrian has 20+ years’ experience in the BPO industry with 10+ years leading Emerge BPO. He developed Emerge BPO to partner with world renowned retailers who require high levels of customer support, with customized solutions tailored to each client's needs. He maintains an active role in the business development and operations.

     

    Adrian is a strong leader, providing mentorship via one-on-one sessions to operations and support staff, where they are equipped with the needed tools to overcome challenges and pursue their goals.

     

    We asked Adrian a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    Did you play a sport in high school?

    Yes. Football

     

    Do you like cartoons? If so, what's your favorite cartoon show?

    I did. I liked Scooby  Doo.

     

    What is your favorite food?

    Puri and Curry (Guyanese dish).

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    I appeared in a pilot for MTV while in High school.

  • Carole Fletcher | Co-Founder

    Highlight: Carole is passionate about bringing a fresh perspective to the BPO industry, providing valuable and meaningful work opportunities. Her experience in the contact center space started 12+ years’ ago, initially in the Human Resources department.

    `

    Starting her career in the engineering field, Carole designed foundations for large buildings, wharves and roads for 13 years in various countries such as the United States, Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana.  She was able to apply her analytical skills throughout Emerge particularly in Operations, Reporting and Data Analysis.

     

    She currently Chairs the Emerge Advisory Board.

     

    We asked Carole a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    There are a few things: I play the piano, I like to cook, and I fancy myself a runner.

     

    If you could eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Shrimp

     

    What is your favorite sport?

    I love watching tennis, and I enjoy running.

    Tea

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Mentor. I like to empower women and girls through mentoring to help them realize their full potential.

     

     

  • Heidi Solomon-Orlick | CEO

    Highlight: Heidi is an innovative Business Development and Client Relationship Leader with 25+ years of Global BPO experience.  Heidi has worked in a wide range of industries including Communications, Media, eCommerce, Technology, Healthcare and Packaged Goods to name a few.  Heidi is a proven business professional skilled in Business Process and Technology Transformation, Team Building/Mentoring, Sales, Service Delivery and Outsourcing.

     

    Heidi is also a passionate advocate for Diversity, Impact Sourcing, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development.  She currently co-chairs the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP’s) Women’s Empowerment, Leadership and Diversity Chapter and has recently joined IAOP’s Social Responsibility Advisory Committee.  Additionally, Heidi is the New Hampshire Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and co-hosts a global podcast called Making of HERstory.  Heidi is committed to making the world a better place for women and girls by continuing to push for increased mentoring, training and equity in the workplace.

     

    We asked Heidi a few fun questions to help us all get to know him better.

     

    What is one thing we don’t know about you?

    I love elephants. In 2017, I had the opportunity to travel to Thailand on an environmental conservation mission and worked with the moms and babies rescued from being exploited by tourism.

     

    If you could eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Anything Mexican

     

    What is your favourite sport?

    Riding horses. When I was younger and braver, I did eventing and was an alternate on the U.S. Equestrian Team.

     

    Tea or coffee?

    Coffee all day long.

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    I would have a lot of side hustles! This would include starting a training and mentoring center for women, and young girls. Also, growing our “Making of HERstory” podcast, and to launch a cafe and bookstore focused on building the community...to name a few.

  • Mike Emslie | Chief Financial Officer

    Highlight: 20 years’ experience in the BPO industry, most recently the Global Controller/Treasurer of a North American Automotive BPO joint venture.

     

    Mike started his career working as a Financial Analyst for a large beverage company. He achieved a CPA designation and held Controller/Management roles in both the IT and manufacturing industries.

     

    Mike lives in Canada but has extensive experience working across the globe. During his time as Global Controller, he helped expand the company’s operations from 4 countries to 15 including China and Brazil.  Under his leadership, the company moved from a net loss position to 15 years of profitability and revenue growth during turbulent periods in the automotive industry.  Mike played University football and believes in the team philosophy to business.  Everyone has an important role to play in the success of a business and he values and appreciates everyone’s contribution.

  • Dalgleish Joseph | Vice President of Operations & Diversity

    Highlight: Dalgleish has been at the forefront of contact center business development in the Caribbean and Latin American for over a decade. He is a proven business professional skilled in leading service excellence and customer experience efforts for large retail and telecommunication companies around the world. Dalgleish has achieved success throughout his career in the BPO space producing substantial improvements in customer satisfaction, performance and cost reduction initiatives.

     

    Dalgleish’s experience in leading client service excellence and organizational leadership in the contact industry started 13 years ago in El Salvador and then expanded into the Caribbean. Dalgleish became the Site Director of the largest private employer in Guyana, creating over 1000 jobs in that country.

     

    This success led to him subsequently accepting the role of Director and Country Manager of one of the fastest growing Contact Centers in Jamaica, where he was directly responsible for creating over 2000 jobs in the areas of sales, customer care and technical support.

     

    Dalgleish currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Diversity at Emerge BP which is headquartered in Guyana. He is responsible for the company’s local and global operations, overseeing the development of new clients and sustainable growth.

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    Because of my dislike of ties I have never owned one. If you’ve ever seen me with a tie on, just know it was borrowed from my Dad.

     

    If you had to eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Fruits. I love all kinds of fruits especially mangoes, strawberries and watermelon.

     

    What is your favourite sport?

    My favorite played sport is cricket. In fact, I played in the El Salvador National Cricket Team many years ago against Belize and Nicaragua. However, my favorite sport to watch is Basketball, during the NBA Playoff season.

     

    Coffee or tea?

     Iced Coffee any day

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Be an actor in Hollywood. I’m a big fan of Denzel Washington and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

  • Wade Hauser | Vice President of Sales

    Highlight: Wade has over 20 years of Call Center Technologies/BPO New Logo Sales experience. He has worked in several companies bringing a unique perspective of business strategy and marketing to achieve business and revenue goals.

     

    Wade’s passions and specialties include Networking, Strategic Marketing, Cold Calling, Team & Relationship Building, Strategic Partnerships, Channel Management, Product Marketing, and Deal Making & Negotiation.

    What’s one thing we don’t know about you?

    I love the outdoors. I love to travel. I try to live each day like it's my last and treat people the way I want to be treated. That's four things!

     

    If you had to eat one food every day, what would it be?

    Cheese, Bread, Salted Fish with Guyanese pepper sauce and Steak. That's four things again.

     

    What is your favourite sport?

    I grew up watching American football with my Dad. He was always gone working, but on Sundays, I would watch the Minnesota Vikings with him, even though he would usually fall asleep in his chair. American Football is my favorite.

     

    Coffee or tea?

    Coffee! But I'm starting to drink more tea.

     

    If you can have any job, what would it be, other than the field you are currently in?

    Author, Writer or Producer. I love great stories, movies always with happy endings.
